BIG NINJUTSU SURVEY 2020~

This was the major Ninjutsu 2020 news and the big surprise for all of us, passionate Bujinkan Ninjutsu practitioners around the world and a shock for myself to learn of the appointment of a Japanese animation actor at the expense of a practitioner and /ou shihan of long-time diligent Ninjutsu to succeed the great master Hatsumi Massaki and become the new 35th master of the Togakure Ryu Ninpo school Takumi Tsutsui therefore received the Menkyo Kaiden directly from the hands of master Hatsumi masaaki (34th), which he himself had received from grand master Toshitsugu Takamatsu (33th) Even if resigned we are forced to approve and respect Master Hatsumi's decision, but what do you think? Do you have an opinion on this subject? In view of Mr Takumi Tsutsui's age and his current level of Ninjutsu and his ability to promulgate the teaching and practice of Ninjutsu at a high level Are you satisfied or disappointed with this choice for the future and sustainability of Togakure Ryu Ninpo? If yes, why ? If not, in his place, who would you have liked to see at the head of Togakure Ryu Ninpo, to give you more desire and motivation to persevere and progress in your practice.?! This survey will remain relevant Everyone has a chance to prove themselves. Only time will decide whether this is the right choice or not.

Question posed to serious practitioners of Ninjutsu and members of Bujinkan or others:

Do you approve of the appointment of Mr. "Tsutsui Takumi" as the new Soke and 35th successor and heir of the Togakure Ryu Ninpo school?

Whatever your opinion, so as not to fall into gratuitous denigration and defamation, please formulate your objective and explicit answer in the comments below. Thank you in advance.

Well it proves no one is immune from dementia..but in all fairness hatsumi might as well have given him a scroll containing a chicken soup recipe as it has as much authenticity as the togakure Ryu scroll .

Interesting how people just assume he was not trained by Hatsumi in togakure ryu while filming the series which included bujinkan and togakure ryu themes..if you read old books you’ll notice hatsumi saying acting is a field that is beneficial to ninjutsu..so why all the hate? Is it because he didn’t pick a gaijin or an older Japanese shihan? How does anyone assume to know this man’s taijutsu level? And why question Hatsumi at all. He gave the sokeship to the one he saw fit to have it. To quote mori shintaro from the 90’s film 3 Ninjas “act like ninja not little babies”

I believe it should have been passed on to Steven Hayes, he must feel betrayed but doesn't show it especially after all he's put in and done.

Nothing but respect for the grandmaster. It is what it is. He has made his decision. It isn’t even the idea that he isn’t the most skilled. A younger candidate in his 30’s or so might have been good to lead the art for potential decades.

As a ninjutsu practitioner and promoted to shodan by Hatsumi himself, we have to agree in his decision on the new sole. I know Master Hatsumi knows what he based his decision on and we should respect that. Congrats to the new soke.

As a ninjutsu practitioner and promoted by Hatsumi himself, we have to agree with his decision on the next soke. He knows what he's doing and we trust in his decision making.

I've been away from bujinkan for a long time, I wanted to look for any video of the new soke teaching or any dojo activity, but i didn't find anything. I found him giving interviews, acting or singing karaoke, always wearing bujinkan shinobi gi. It's strange, perhaps Hatsumi left a ver difficult shoes to fill...

Bujinkan has become a mess. Many of these new "soke" are inexperienced, there are students better than them. It's a joke.

I have always thought of Master Masaaki as the grandfather I never had, and at 62 I still respect my elders. And I will abide by his decision

With all due respect its Masaaki Hatsumi school, his organization, etc.. His vision to expose this art to everybody was very risky and dangerous for him

He makes decisions and thats it. This is science that only people that learned can understand what needs to be done.

Ninja school is not martial art strictly, its way of life, studying self control and body control.

Under pressure from government, they survived and blossomed.

Numerous times ninja villages were burned to the ground.

If he was chosen by our 34 soke.
Then by choice he is our 30th soke.
